Nastaran 6 Apartment
Location
Nastaran 6 Apartment Complex is located in a prominent setting near the large Malek Abad Garden in Mashhad. One of the client’s main requirements was the creation of generous terraces that could benefit from views toward Malek Abad Garden.

Architectural Concept
The project is composed of two main elements: a core and a shell. The core is conceived as a transparent volume containing the required spaces of each residential unit. The shell, formed by a series of twisting bands, originates from the main core of the complex, which acts as the project’s spine, and wraps around the inner volume. On the northern side, the shell pulls away from the core, creating varying voids between them. Along the eastern and southern sides, the intermediate space is connected in certain areas by horizontal surfaces, forming expansive terraces for each unit.
The final scheme of Nastaran 6 was organized according to a nine-square grid structure. In this option, the main focus is placed on the corners and on expressing the ninth square as a distinct volume that, while remaining connected to the other squares, maintains an independent identity. At the base, the ninth square is fully integrated with the overall composition, while gradually revealing its distinct identity as it rises.
